Since 1980, the “Mushroom” company has been involved in the cultivation of mushrooms using its own substrates.
Brothers Fernando and Emanuele Pozza, driven by a passion for this industry, started out with a small-scale cultivation operation that has since developed to encompass the preparation of substrates and is engaged in continuous research into new strains and varieties. Since the ’90s, Mushroom has been pro-actively working with the leading European research centres, and has even entered into contact with other producers in order to launch, in France, a cutting-edge company specialising in the production of a substrate that it today exports around the world. As such, Mushroom has always been at the forefront of the industry.
Today, Mushroom is particularly committed to matters of environmental protection and natural cultivation. It combines state-of-the-art growing techniques with low-environmental-impact solutions, and has equipped itself with a photovoltaic plant that has the capacity to produce significant amounts of solar energy.
